Tropical Storm Fay is clinging to life southwest of the Azores with near-hurricane-force winds, but forecasters say increasing wind shear and dry air should weaken the storm to nothing by week's end. Fay formed in the open Atlantic roughly 405 miles southwest of the Azores region in Portugal, packing sustained winds of up to 65 mph, just under hurricane intensity, FOX Weather reported . Tropical Storm Dolly weakened into an open tropical wave, according to the National Hurricane Center’s latest advisory. Dolly remained a tropical storm in the Atlantic for approximately 24 hours before dissipating. FOX Weather’s Kiyana Lewis joined LiveNOW’s Anna Marsick to provide an update on Dolly. DOLLY FORECAST: The system's heavy rainfall could start reaching the Leeward Islands by late Saturday or Sunday. Some long-range models show the chance of remnants of Dolly regenerating north of the islands. While the odds are low, there is no consensus on what might develop or where it might go.
