A new poll finds that barely one in ten American voters believes Sen. Mitch McConnell will survive to the end of his Senate term, and nearly a third say it is believable he is no longer alive, after weeks of secrecy surrounding his hospitalization and the sudden death of a fellow Republican senator. The Daily Mail/JL Partners poll , conducted online among 1,021 registered voters between July 17 and July 20, paints a stark picture of public distrust. Just 9 percent said they were "very confident" the 84-year-old Kentucky Republican would make it to the end of his term. Another 17 percent said "somewhat confident." A combined 49 percent said they were either "not very confident" or "not confident at all," and 26 percent were unsure. The…Open
