Dan Osborn left the Kellogg’s strike line in 2021 to brief Young Democrats activists whose platform backed sex-worker unions, ICE abolition, and amnesty, then later sold himself as an independent in deep-red Nebraska. The Washington Free Beacon reported that on Dec. 4, 2021, Osborn appeared as a featured guest speaker at the Young Democrats of America’s Winter Digital Summit and updated activists on the Kellogg’s strike he was leading in Omaha. At the same summit, the group’s national committee passed a resolution standing in solidarity with his union, and reaffirmed its pro-sex-worker labor policy.
