FOX Weather reported the National Park Service closed the Keanakākoʻi area to protect the public from the quakes and rising volcanic activity. The largest quake registered magnitude 3.4 at 9:52 p.m. HST Wednesday. Strongest shaking ran from about 8 p.m. Wednesday through 3 a.m. Thursday.
