Eight of the country’s major artificial intelligence firms have agreed to deploying their AI systems in the Department of Defense’s (DOD) classified networks, as the agency seeks to bolster the technology into military operations. OpenAI, Google, Nvidia, Reflection AI, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services and SpaceX signed deals with the Pentagon to deploy their AI technology for “lawful operational use,” the Pentagon announced Friday.
