On Monday, President Donald Trump announced a new set of deals with nine pharmaceutical companies to lower drug prices. Under the deals, the companies offer discounts to state Medicaid programs on certain drugs to bring their prices in line with the amounts charged in other developed countries.
Nine more pharmaceutical companies said they would cut the prices on some drugs through Trump’s Most Favored Nation program.
