Media out MS NOW is releasing a statement after its reporter was denied access into the White House this morning. This comes as president Trump announced a ban for CNN and MSNOW and Politico due to what he's calling the agencies "fake news" media. In the statement MS NOW wrote "The White House belongs to the American people and the decisions made inside are funded by our tax dollars" The agency went on to say that it will take "any and all steps to defend the first amendment"
The president said on Friday he would ban CNN, Politico and MS NOW. Any prohibition will probably face a legal challenge.
MS NOW has now been denied access to The White House, one day after Trump said he was banning MS NOW, CNN and Politico from The White House. In a statement, MS NOW says: "Earlier this morning, MS NOW journalists were denied access to the white house grounds. the white house belongs to the American people, and the decisions made inside are funded by our tax dollars. MS NOW intends to take any and all steps necessary to defend our First Amendment rights and the essential role of independent journalism in our democracy. We stand firmly behind our anchors, our reporters, and our newsroom. We will continue to report on the president, the administration, and the issues that impact the American people."
