Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, convicted of defrauding investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars, is scheduled to move from federal prison to a Texas halfway house in August 2027, even as she continues to insist she did nothing wrong. The Department of Justice's Victim Notification System has approved Holmes for placement at the Austin Transitional Center in Del Valle, Texas, on August 23, 2027, ABC News reported . Her scheduled release date is February 22, 2030. Upon release, Holmes will reside in Austin and be supervised by the United States Probation Office there.
