A Guatemalan migrant was transferred to a hospital when he experienced what appeared to be a seizure, federal officials said.

“This is not the first death of a detainee at Delaney Hall, and absent decisive action, it will not be the last,” Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) said.
The detainee has been identified as 41-year-old Salvadoran migrant Edwin Lopez-Cornejo, who died after experiencing a medical emergency while in ICE custody on Saturday. Lopez-Cornejo's cause of death has not been released so far.
The death comes months after Haitian immigrant died after a medical emergency while in ICE custody.
