His family continues to push for answers after years with no update on what happened to him. McDonald had just been released from prison after a 10-year stint for robbery when he was just 19. His family says he cut off an ankle monitor while on parole and living at a halfway house. They thought he would turn himself in but soon learned from his girlfriend that he had run off.
