The lack of visible raids aggressively targeting Haitians who lost temporary status has frustrated some of President Trump’s most fervent supporters.

The administration has also sought to end deportation protections for other immigrant groups, including Syrians.
The request comes after the department asked the Supreme Court to let it end the designation for Syrian migrants last month, though the justices have not issued a ruling in the case so far.
