Vice President Vance will give remarks Thursday on the Trump administration’s effort to rebuild the U.S. manufacturing workforce through the launch of a new training program as part of President Trump’s push to boost domestic production. The Foundry School, a project of the State Department’s Pax Silica initiative, will train entrepreneurs, engineers, technicians and industrial leaders for jobs in advanced manufacturing, including semiconductors, defense and energy, according to the press release.
