The U.S. added 130,000 jobs in January but gained far fewer jobs than initially reported in 2025, according to data released Wednesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The January employment report showed the labor market booming last month, with the jobless rate ticking down slightly to 4.3 percent.
