President Trump, Cabinet officials and Republican lawmakers are set to deliver remarks at a national prayer event hosted on the National Mall Sunday. "Rededicate 250: A National Day of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving" is organized by Freedom 250, which is the initiative leading events to celebrate the semiquincentennial of the U.S. Organizers describe the event as "a historic gathering to give thanks for God's providence, reflect on our nation's story, and rededicate America as One Nation under God." Trump, along with Vice President Vance, Speaker Mike Johnson, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, are set to speak at Sunday's event. The president is expected to speak via video.
