President Trump and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin on Thursday morning are expected to announce new actions within the agency that will bring savings to American families and businesses, according to the White House. The EPA will revise Biden administration-era technology and emissions rules that limit the type of refrigerants that can be used. The savings, per the administration, are “expected to flow directly to consumers through lower grocery prices, cheaper transportation of refrigerated goods, and more affordable home air conditioning.” National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett and other industry experts will also be in attendance.
