A news helicopter crashed Tuesday evening in a commercial part of Los Angeles, killing three people – including the veteran pilot and an aerial photojournalist-reporter – and leaving others injured, officials said. The Eurocopter AS350, working for stations NBC4 and Telemundo 52, crashed while providing coverage of a fatal bus collision in Chatsworth, a suburban neighborhood about 25 miles northwest of downtown, the stations said. Dr. Nicole Saphier, who President Trump tapped to serve as U.S. surgeon general, will testify before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on Wednesday morning.
