Long Island serial killer Rex Heuermann briefly addressed the court during his sentencing Wednesday, telling the families of his victims, “I am responsible.” “There are no words. I am responsible,” Heuermann said after listening to emotional victim impact statements from several relatives. “The words I would say have no meaning.” Heuermann spoke for less than a minute.
