Randy George to step down and retire immediately, reported CBS News, marking the latest high-level leadership shake-up at the Pentagon. Gen. George was nominated by President Joe Biden and confirmed in 2023 for a four-year term. The Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement that George, the Army’s 41st chief of staff, would retire effective immediately and thanked him for his decades of service. Gen.
