An autopsy on actress Hayden Panettiere revealed no signs of trauma that would have contributed to her death at 36, but the Greenville County Coroner's Office says the cause and manner of death remain pending as investigators continue additional studies. Panettiere was found unresponsive inside a South Carolina Airbnb on August 16, 2026, where she had been temporarily staying. The Greenville County Coroner's Office said a 911 call came in at approximately 1:51 p.m. reporting a cardiac arrest. First responders and Emergency Medical Services arrived and found a woman in cardiac arrest. EMS crews began advanced life-saving measures, but those efforts failed.
