In Texas, a new Marist poll finds Democratic State Rep. James Talarico leading Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton by 6 percentage points in their race for the U.S. Senate, 50% to 44%. Talarico joins Morning Joe for a wide-ranging interview. He discusses the recent ICE shooting of a Venezuelan immigrant in Texas, the affordability issue and the boom of A.I. data centers in Texas. Talarico also takes a jab at his opponent, pointing out that Paxton has not accepted any of his debate invitations ahead of the midterms, saying: "I get it. If I had Ken Paxton’s career of corruption, I wouldn’t want to answer these questions, either."
Trump recently claimed to have “delivered on every single promise” he made during the campaign.
