As soon as they’re convinced that something is happening, then they’re going to go all-out.” Professor Mohammad Marandi tells Max Blumenthal that Tehran won’t strike first, citing Iranians’ widely-shared religious beliefs prohibiting unprovoked aggression. But he warns that if they’re attacked, Iranian retaliation will be immediate — and worse than “Vietnam, Iraq, and all the other US wars together.”
