Batya Ungar-Sargon says “lies” has been the theme of the media this week, as late-night host Stephen Colbert claimed CBS was censoring his interview with Texas Senate Democratic candidate James Talarico due to FCC rules. But Ungar-Sargon says it turns out Colbert himself was doing the censoring, not by refusing to interview Talerico’s Republican opponent, but rather his Democratic primary opponent, Jasmine Crockett.
