President Trump announced he was extending America’s ceasefire with Iran indefinitely as he awaits Tehran’s counter-proposal on a peace deal. Phelan’s predecessor, former Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro, and Victoria Coates, former deputy national security adviser in Trump’s first administration, join “CUOMO” to discuss how the negotiations and the secretary’s firing will impact efforts to end the war. The war with Iran hits the 60 day mark next week. Under the War Powers Resolution, that triggers the need for Congress to vote on whether to continue the conflict. Trump’s Justice Department leveled an indictment against the nonprofit civil rights organization, alleging it defrauded donors. The DOJ claims the SPLC secretly paid more than $3 million to members of violent extremist groups to act as confidential informants, in a now-defunct program, without telling donors. Social media is hyper-focused on a group of up to 11 scientists, some of whom had ties to UFO research, who went missing or were found dead in recent years. New texts were just revealed this week from one of the deceased scientists, Amy Eskridge, who had been working on anti-gravity technology for NASA. One of her texts to a friend just one month before she allegedly committed suicide in 2022, says "if you see any report that I killed myself, I most definitely did not." Her father says she died by suicide and was struggling with mental illness. Is there something more to the story?
