YOUTUBE (MS NOW) - FCC using DEI as 'sword' against Disney, ABC to attack press freedoms
A federal judge ruled that prosecutors cannot revive a felony charge against a former Olympian previously accused of vandalizing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Dave Aronberg, former state attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida; Tom Rogers, founder of CNBC and senior advisor to MS NOW's parent company, Versant; and MS NOW contributor Huma Abedin join Morning Joe to analyze the court’s scathing review of the Justice Department’s handling of the case. The panel also discusses the legal battle between The Walt Disney Company and the Federal Communications Commission over the agency's decision to review ABC's broadcast television licenses earlier than usual, as well as Rogers’ new Newsweek column on the case, "Another Trump Attack on Press Freedom."
