YOUTUBE (MS NOW) - Rep. Morelle RIPS Trump's aggressive immigration tactics spreading 'FEAR' across upstate NY
The Trump administration is reportedly moving forward with a major $17 million expansion of the largest ICE detention center in New York state. The project could potentially include tents or trailers, all or part of which is intended to house women in the facility that currently holds only men. The news comes as the Buffalo Service Processing Center in Batavia already operates near its 650-bed capacity. Democratic Congressman Joe Morelle of New York joins Morning Joe to discuss the expansion of the site, which he visited earlier this year to meet with detained individuals and their families. Morelle also addresses the "chilling effect" Trump's aggressive immigration tactics have had in the region.
