YOUTUBE (NewsNation) - US tests antidrone tech at border

The U.S. Army is testing new radar, lasers and gun systems along the U.S.-Mexico border to stop drones that military officials say cartels are flying in growing numbers. Military officials say they detected 378 drones crossing the southern border in the last 30 days, and that number is rising. Some of the equipment is already in use. The military says lasers have brought down 11 cartel drones since they were sent to the border in August. Last month, the military said it used technology to shoot down 300 suspected cartel-linked drones along the border during the first eight months of the year. NewsNation's Ali Bradley reports.
