Why is the lack of documentation regarding the meeting between Jack Smith's team and John Brennan considered a matter of accountability?
It is considered a matter of accountability because the team failed to follow the U.S. Attorney's Manual requirements. The manual mandates that for important cases, agents must have a pre-arranged plan for notetaking, document that plan, and record the substance of the contact, none of which occurred in this instance.
