President Trump on Thursday afternoon will announce his administration's new initiative, dubbed "Freedom Haulers," to connect military veterans with jobs in the trucking industry. The program will be a joint effort by the Departments of Transportation, Veterans Affairs, Labor and Defense, according to the White House. The initiative will also expand opportunities for the veterans involved to receive expedited commercial driver's licenses (CDL).
