Savannah Guthrie returned to NBC’s “Today” after roughly two weeks away, rejoining Craig Melvin as the reason for her break remained unstated. Daly, 53, opened the 7:00 a.m. hour on Tuesday alongside Kristen Welker, who was herself substituting for Savannah Guthrie.
