YOUTUBE (CNN) - A rare look inside occumpied southern Lebanon

CNN gained rare access inside Israeli-occupied south Lebanon, where predominantly Shia Muslim towns and homes have been reduced to rubble. Three Christian villages have been spared Israel's demolition policy, but their residents are cut off from the rest of the country. The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) is trying to regain control over southern Lebanon through a US-backed framework meant to transition control of Lebanese territory currently occupied by Israeli forces — known as "pilot zones." CNN exclusively joined the Lebanese army on patrol to one of those areas. Jeremy Diamond has the story.
