Griner, a center for the Connecticut Sun, filed the divorce petition Thursday in Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, ABC News reported after obtaining the court documents. The filing states that the couple's marriage "is irretrievably broken" with "no hope of reconciliation." The listed separation date is July 24, 2026. The petition seeks joint physical custody of the couple's son, Bash, whom they welcomed in 2024.
