Jhenéy Wallace, a 20-year-old Victor Valley College basketball player who dreamed of reaching the WNBA, was killed when her vehicle plunged 80 feet down an embankment on California's I-15 freeway, leaving two other occupants in critical condition. Wallace was a passenger in a Hyundai Veloster traveling through the Cajon Pass on Wednesday, July 15, when the car rolled off the freeway and tumbled down a steep embankment.
