A gunman opened fire at a home in rural Caswell County, North Carolina, early Wednesday morning, killing three family members before dying at the scene, and authorities say the shooter was also a relative. Deputies responded to a residence on Brooks Road in Prospect Hill, a small unincorporated community on the Virginia border about 60 miles north of Raleigh, and found multiple people shot. Three adults were dead. A fourth family member was rushed to Duke University Hospital with gunshot wounds. The shooter, also an adult member of the same family, was dead at the scene.
