Hal Williams, the veteran television actor who spent more than five decades on screen and became a fixture in American living rooms through roles on Sanford and Son and 227, has died at his home in Rancho Mirage, California. He was 91 years old. Williams died of natural causes on Wednesday morning after dealing with ongoing health issues, his manager Zna Portlock Houston told TMZ .
