Casey Affleck disclosed that his father, Timothy “Tim” Byers Affleck, died earlier in 2026; he and Ben Affleck have now lost both parents within one year. Casey said he dedicated “Company” to his parents. Their deaths gave the film’s festival appearance a deeply personal weight beyond its public premiere.
