The “Daily Show” correspondent has interviewed supporters of President Donald Trump for a decade.
Mr. Pelley, a longtime correspondent and former “Evening News” anchor, harshly criticized the show’s leadership in an extraordinary exchange during a staff meeting on Monday.
The veteran journalist “can smell a fraud from a mile away,” Bill Owens said of Pelley while criticizing the network’s hiring of Nick Bilton and Bari Weiss.
“She’s murdering '60 Minutes,’" the veteran journalist said of CBS News Editor-In-Chief Bari Weiss.
He wrote 31 books, often drawing on his experiences as a pro football publicist, a foreign correspondent and a gun-toting spokesman for the N.Y.P.D.
Glenn joined Real America's Voice in 2024, after stints with Nexstar Media Group, Sinclair Broadcasting, Tegna, Salem Media Group and Right Side Broadcasting.
"Being a correspondent at 60 Minutes has been one of the great honors of my career," Anderson Cooper said
Mr. Cooper said in a statement that he was leaving as a correspondent for the show to focus on his CNN program and spend more time with his children.
