Actress Sydney Sweeney drew a wave of condemnation from female Olympians and elite athletes after appearing naked in a promotional video for betting company Novig, a campaign critics say reduces women's sport to a sex-selling exercise. Sweeney, 29, posed without clothing in the ad, using footballs and other sports equipment to cover herself. She holds an equity stake in Novig, a sports-prediction platform she helped launch, and Novig's founder and CEO, Jacob Fortinsky, told Front Office Sports that Sweeney herself pushed to appear nude in the campaign.
