Kelly Ripa's extended absence from Live with Kelly and Mark has stretched into its second week of guest co-hosts, with Gilded Age star Carrie Coon stepping into the chair alongside Mark Consuelos in a previously recorded episode. Ripa, the longtime co-host of the syndicated morning show, has been off the air recovering from gum graft surgery. The procedure, a dental operation in which tissue is grafted onto receding gums, has kept her away from the studio for at least two weeks, during which a rotating cast of guest co-hosts has filled the seat next to Consuelos.
