YOUTUBE (The Hill) - Happening Now: Trump Touts Economic Agenda In Massie's Kentucky

President Trump will give remarks in Kentucky seeking to sell his economic agenda ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The trip also provides Trump an opportunity to highlight his support for retired Capt. Ed Gallrein, who is running to unseat Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) — a vocal critic of the president — in the Bluegrass State's 4th Congressional District. His remarks come as Trump faces lagging poll numbers over the economy and as oil and gas prices skyrocket in the aftermath of U.S. strikes on Iran. During his trip, the president will also visit two facilities, including a manufacturing center in Cincinnati and a packaging center in Hebron, Ky., which is in Massie's district.
