A 94-year-old Dallas woman has been confirmed as the unidentified figure in famous film footage from the day President John F. Kennedy was shot, and her headscarf will soon go on display at the museum that preserves the memory of that day. Joan Jackson was standing along the motorcade route in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 1963, holding a friend's three-year-old son and wearing a headscarf, when a camera captured her image. She had no idea she was being filmed. For 62 years, researchers and historians could not put a name to the woman in the footage.
