A 28-year-old unemployed man in debt allegedly robbed a State Bank of India branch using chilli powder as a weapon, and police caught him before the hour was up. Suraj Borker walked into a State Bank of India branch in Nagpur, a city in the central Indian state of Maharashtra, on a Friday evening around 6 p.m., wearing a white mask. He threw chilli powder directly at bank employees, then chased staff members to get closer aim before jumping the counter and grabbing cash worth roughly £3,503, The Sun reported . He fled the branch. He did not get far. A bank employee gave chase, and patrolling police officers joined the pursuit. Within 30 minutes, Borker was in custody.
