Police say at least one intruder made it inside the home of the Philadelphia Eagles' star running back while Barkley, his fiancée and their two young children were home.
Security video showed two guards on duty. In the video, one guard steps away, and the other fails to notice the intruder slipping inside the building.
The intruder was arrested and no one was hurt, the New York City Police Department said.
