Nick Reiner, the 32-year-old son of filmmaker Rob Reiner, allegedly lost control in a jail shower on April 27 and had his phone, visitor, and commissary privileges stripped for five days, the latest sign of trouble as he awaits trial for the stabbing deaths of both parents. Reiner had finished showering and changing at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles when deputies failed to return him promptly to his cell. Another inmate had apparently overdosed nearby, pulling staff away. That delay set Reiner off. An insider told People that Reiner began yelling, screaming, and directing profanities at a sheriff and a sergeant assigned to the specialized medical observation unit where he is held in solitary confinement.
