Stafford Commonwealth District Attorney Eric Olsen said driver Jing Dong has been charged with a total of five felony counts of involuntary manslaughter and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.
Jing Dong, a U.S. citizen after immigrating from China, will be charged with involuntary manslaughter in the quintuple fatal crash early Friday morning, State Police in Virginia say.
Virginia State Police said Jing S. Dong, a Staten Island, New York-based driver who became a naturalized U.S. citizen after immigrating from China and obtained his commercial driver's license in 2024, faces two counts of involuntary manslaughter, with additional charges pending.
