The Supreme Court on Wednesday morning will weigh President Trump's executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship. President Trump will also make history as the first sitting president to attend oral arguments. The conventional understanding of birthright citizenship has for more than a century been that almost anyone born on U.S. soil is automatically a citizen.
