Judge Judy Sheindlin, 83, says she is done with on-camera work after three decades of courtroom television, but she is not done shaping what Americans see in the courtroom genre, moving behind the scenes to produce her son's new show. Sheindlin told People magazine in an interview published Thursday that her long-running follow-up series Judy Justice will wrap next month, closing a television career that began in 1996 with the original Judge Judy. That show ran 25 seasons before ending in 2021. Judy Justice followed for five more years. Now Sheindlin plans to step into the producer's chair for a new small-claims court program called Adam's Law, hosted by her 58-year-old son, Adam Levy.
