Paramount is developing a sequel to the 2003 romantic comedy "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," with original star Kate Hudson attached to produce, and filmmakers want Matthew McConaughey back, too. The project is in early stages, with Hudson producing alongside veteran producer Stacey Sher through Sher's Shiny Penny banner. The studio is currently seeking a screenwriter, and no director has been named. A source close to the project told Variety that the intention is for Hudson to reprise her role as Andie Anderson and for McConaughey to return as Benjamin Barry, the advertising executive she famously sparred with in the original.
