A liberal Wisconsin brewery owner announced a promotion offering 50% off beer the day Sen. Mitch McConnell dies, drawing sharp criticism even as the brewery fights to keep its alcohol permit. Kirk Bangstad, owner of the Minocqua Brewing Company, posted the promotion on Instagram on July 7, tying the discount to what he called McConnell's responsibility for "AT LEAST 50% of what's currently wrong with America." The post also mocked the 84-year-old Kentucky Republican's health, suggesting McConnell may have already died.
