Police have not released the identity of a man who was shot to death near the state Capitol building after police say he injured an officer with a large knife during a struggle. The shooting was captured on video by bystanders and has sparked large protests. Advocacy groups say the man was Black and that police used excessive force. City leaders are calling for peace.
