Jefferson Family Court Judge Angela Johnson issued Bevin another warrant after finding him in contempt of court for failing to turn over required financial documents related to the case.
The court decided the warrant was invalid, because it came after the former governor, Matt Bevin, had filed to disqualify a judge from his child-support case, accusing her of bias.
Jefferson Family Court Judge Angela Johnson said Bevin must serve 60 days in county jail or post a $500 cash bond and produce “financial records, bank statements, tax returns and all other documents that would show the receipt of income.”
Seven years after leaving office, Matt Bevin, the combative ex-governor, faces charges for not providing financial records sought by his estranged son.
